A: Yes. Because this attachment outputs high-intensity UV-A radiation, neither models nor crew should look directly into the light source when it fires. We strongly advise the photographer and crew to wear UV-blocking safety glasses during setup and testing while the modeling lamp is active.

Q: Can I keep the flash head’s halogen modeling lamp turned on with this filter attached?
A: You can use the modeling lamp briefly for framing and focusing, but because the dark glass absorbs massive amounts of heat from continuous light, we recommend turning the modeling lamp off or lowering its power during long periods of inactivity to prevent excessive thermal buildup.
