Q: Are external hard drives, computer workstations, monitors, or multiple cables included inside this standard rental listing?
A: No, they are not. This specific rental listing covers a single standalone Thunderbolt 4 connectivity cable in your chosen length only (priced per piece). It is intentionally designed for freelance technicians, digital capture assistants, or production crews who already run their preferred hardware blocks and simply require certified, high-bandwidth communication lines on location. If your crew requires an independent compute or storage station, please remember to add our Mac mini M4 compute modules, SanDisk Professional 4TB SSDs, or ASUS ProArt displays to your Hong Kong gear allocation.

Q: What is the exact technical benefit of renting this certified Thunderbolt 4 cable over a standard USB-C phone charging line?
A: Standard phone charging cables are wired strictly for low-wattage electrical current and are throttled down to legacy USB 2.0 data speeds (480Mbps). Attempting to route large cinema files or high-resolution RAW batches through them will cause severe buffering lag, frequent software crashes, or failure to mount inside Capture One. Our certified Thunderbolt 4 cable provides a massive 40Gbps data bandwidth (nearly 80 times faster than USB 2.0), features high-performance shielding to block electromagnetic interference from studio strobes, and handles heavy video, power, and data streams simultaneously without dropping connections.

Q: Do the longer 1.2m and 2m cable lengths suffer from transmission speed drops or signal degradation compared to the shorter 0.3m line?
A: No, absolutely not. Traditional passive copper cables experience severe transmission speed drops as they get longer due to internal resistance. However, our extended 1.2m and 2m cables utilize active internal chipsets and premium heavy-gauge coax shielding. This specialized engineering ensures that the data path remains completely uniform across the entire length, guaranteeing that you receive the exact same uncompromised 40Gbps bandwidth, 8K video output capability, and full power routing performance as our ultra-short patch lines.

Q: How is the rental fee calculated?
A: The rental fee is calculated on a 24-hour basis per rental period at Dream Scenes Studio Hong Kong.

Q: Is a deposit required?
A: Yes, a corresponding deposit is required for all equipment rentals in HK.

Q: What payment methods are accepted for the deposit?
A: We accept credit card authorization for the deposit, which is fast and convenient for local and international crews.
