A: Yes. The softbox fabric shell belongs to the universal RFi ecosystem. However, the speedring supplied in this specific rental package features a native Profoto mount. If your production uses Bowens S-Type or Broncolor lighting fixtures, please notify our team before booking so we can swap out the inner adapter ring insert.

Q: Is this 5-foot softbox difficult to assemble alone on set?
A: Due to its massive size and the high-strength tension required to lift the 8 structural steel rods, it requires a fair amount of physical effort. While Profoto’s color-coded markers make rod alignment completely error-free, we highly recommend assembling it with an assistant or using the “opposite-pair tensioning technique” to make setup safe and efficient.
