A: The main difference is power output and battery stamina. The 400L is 400Ws, while the 800L is twice as powerful at 800Ws. However, because the 400L draws less power per flash, a single battery will give you up to 440 full-power flashes, compared to 220 flashes on the 800L. If you need all-day battery endurance and are primarily using the light for fill or moderate sun-balancing, the 400L is the better, lighter choice.

A: No, the Siros 400L operates strictly on battery power. The included charger is designed only to charge the battery when it is removed from the strobe unit.

A: The monolight features a built-in RFS 2.1 receiver. To trigger it and unlock High-Speed Sync (HS) features, you will need to rent a compatible Broncolor RFS 2.1 or RFS 2.2 transmitter that matches your camera system (Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc.).
