The Broncolor Pulso G 1600J is the legendary, industry-standard studio flash head that has illuminated countless high-end fashion campaigns and commercial product shoots worldwide. Designed to handle a massive capacity of up to 1600 Joules (Ws), this rugged lamp head delivers the uncompromising light quality, color consistency, and extreme reliability that top-tier professionals expect from Broncolor. What truly separates the Pulso G from ordinary flash heads is its ingenious integrated focusing mechanism. By simply turning a dial on the side of the housing, you can physically move the flash tube and modeling light back and forth within the reflector. This allows you to effortlessly adjust the light spread from a tight, focused spot to a wide, even flood, giving you unprecedented control over your light shaping without changing modifiers. Fully compatible with Broncolor’s premier generator packs like the Scoro, Grafit, and Move series, the Pulso G is the ultimate workhorse for the most demanding studio environments.

-
Q: Which Broncolor power packs are compatible with the Pulso G 1600J?
A: The Pulso G is highly versatile and fully compatible with all standard Broncolor high-voltage generator packs, including the Scoro (S and E), Grafit, Senso, and the battery-powered Move 1200L.
-
Q: How exactly does the focusing mechanism work with modifiers?
A: When you mount a modifier (like a standard reflector or a Para) and turn the focusing knob on the side of the Pulso G, the actual flash tube moves forwards or backwards inside the modifier. Moving the tube deeper into the reflector creates a harder, narrower “spot” beam, while pushing it outward creates a softer, wider “flood” beam.
-
Q: Can I plug the Pulso G lamp head directly into a wall power outlet?
A: No, the Pulso G is a passive lamp head. It does not contain an internal power supply or capacitors. It must be plugged into a compatible Broncolor generator pack to receive power and function.
-
Q: Is the modeling light bright enough to be used for video shooting?
A: The Pulso G uses a traditional halogen modeling bulb. While it is quite bright and excellent for previewing shadows for photography, it is a “hot light” that generates a lot of heat and consumes significant power. It is not recommended to be used as a primary continuous video light.
-
Q: How is the rental fee calculated?
A: The rental fee is calculated on a 24-hour basis per rental period.
-
Q: Is a deposit required?
A: Yes, a corresponding deposit is required for all equipment rentals.
-
Q: What payment methods are accepted for the deposit?
A: We accept credit card authorization for the deposit, which is fast and convenient.
