Q: Can I use the LED F160 on battery power for outdoor shoots? A: Yes. The F160 is designed to be highly portable. While it comes with an AC adapter, it can also be powered by an optional Broncolor lithium-ion battery module (or compatible V-mount battery systems with the right adapter), making it perfect for location shoots where mains power is unavailable.

Q: Does the F160 get as dangerously hot as traditional halogen continuous lights?
A: No. Unlike traditional tungsten or halogen hot lights that generate massive heat, the F160 uses high-efficiency LED technology with an advanced active cooling system. It stays relatively cool to the touch, making it much safer on set and far more comfortable for your talent.

Q: Can I mount my existing Bowens mount softboxes on this light?
A: Out of the box, the F160 features a proprietary Broncolor bayonet mount. To use standard Bowens mount modifiers, you will need to rent a specific “Broncolor-to-Bowens” speedring adapter. For the best optical performance, however, we highly recommend using native Broncolor modifiers.

A: The rental fee is calculated on a 24-hour basis per rental period.
