Q: This light is very powerful. Do I need a special stand for it?
A: Yes. The lamp head and control box are heavy. You must use a heavy-duty Combo Stand (with a junior pin receiver) or a high-capacity C-Stand (sandbagged properly) to safely support this fixture. Standard lightweight aluminum stands are not suitable.

Q: Can I run the LS 600d at 100% maximum output using standard V-Mount batteries?
A: To achieve 100% output on battery power, you need two high-voltage (26V/28.8V) V-mount batteries, or a 48V block battery. If you use two standard 14.4V V-mount batteries (must be capable of 15A high draw), the light will cap its maximum output at 50%.

Q: Does the LS 600d work with the Aputure F10 Fresnel?
A: Absolutely. The F10 Fresnel and F10 Barn Doors were designed specifically for the 600 series. Combining the 600d with the F10 Fresnel drastically increases its lux output, making it perform exactly like a traditional 1200W HMI Fresnel.
