Q: Do I need special V-mount batteries to run this light at 100% output?
A: Yes. To achieve 100% output using battery power, you must use two high-voltage (26V or 28.8V) V-Mount batteries or a 48V block battery. Using standard 14.4V (15A) V-Mount batteries will power the light safely but limit the maximum output to 50%.
